I just got a 128gb ssd to use as my primary drive on my computer. I did a fresh install of windows 7 ultimate 64bit sp1. I then downloaded guild wars, and used the -image command to download all the files. When playing guild wars every time that I change zones, the loading screen will show up, the game will minimize to my desktop, then automatically restore itself once the zone is loaded. I am using a radeon hd 4800, and have installed the latest catalyst drivers for it.
The hdd that I used to have as my main was also using the same graphics card, OS, and system hardware, although possibly a different version of the drivers, and had no problems. I have tried running the game in compatibility mode for xp sp1 & 2, vista and its sp's, and the windows 7 compatibility mode that was added in sp1.
Does anyone have any input or advice on what my options are here? Thanks in advance.
