HoM minipet display bug

hello,

idk if thats the proper forum section to ask, but i dunno where to ask
so i have a gold miniature wich have problem displaying it in Hom

it says its dedicated to Hom and yet i cant see it in the displayed miniatures list neither in HoM calculator...
if some1 had a same problem and/or know solution for it pls share.
thanks in advance and sry if thats the wrong way and section to ask

did YOU dedicate it? if so did you dedicate it with THAT character?
try talking to the historian and change your Hom to account view and see if it shows up--if it does you dedicated it with another character on your account.
(if you acquired it already dedicated, you will not be able to show it at all).

By not showing in HoM calculator do you mean you don't have credit for a Rare minature? And did you buy this from another player?

If so, I'm afraid you may have purchased a dedicated mini. Minis can be dedicated at the HoM and then freely traded. Their value drops after dedication, but the unwary may not notice and will pay full price.

For any update to your HoM to show up in the HoM Calculator u need to first log out your character first.


If the description of the mini already mentioned it was dedicated to HoM, u cant add it to your HoM.
As said, its possible the mini was already dedicated (to someone elses HoM)

So, when buying undedicated mini's check if they are not dedicated yet!

ok, was that screenshot taken before u tried to add the mini to your HoM?!
Because the mini's description sais its dedicated already then.

Also, double-check further down the screen. That list only displays the currently shown minis. Any beyond the displayed 20 will be lumped into one list.

The mini is from one of my birthday gifts opened few years ago (i think,)...
iv never bought mini b4, just sold few recently
thats the only character having access to HoM atm

how can i do that (sry for the silly question)

i logged in and out many times- nothing changed!

edit: i might have done trade for it for an item long time ago but can hardly recall anything...

kimmes the historian is right inside the portal to hall of monuments. talk to him and say show me the accomplishments for my account. also the list in the monument itself doesn't show all minipets that are dedicated. since its a birthday mini you can select to show what mini's are dedicated for a particular year. go to the monument and select arrange display, then select what year birthday the mini is from. if its still not there don't know what else to say

edit: guess i should have looked at the screenshot. no the ceratadon wasn't a birthday mini and will be listed under the limited release section in the monument itself

Well, it wasn't a birthday gift. The ceratadon was never given for bdays (unless a few were included in the recent 7th year bday presents, but that would not apply here) It was a promotional item. So i suspect you bought or traded for a mini that had already been dedicated.

The Ceratadon was a promotional award from the first issue of MMOZine. It would have probably been something you remembered, so you probably bought it.

Completely close Guild Wars and check the HoM calculator. If you don't have the point for 1 Rare Miniature, you bought it dedicated.

If you DO have the point, check the additional miniatures list below the display list. It may be buried in there.

As for seeing the account-wide display, near the entraces is Kimmes the Historian. Talk to him and ask to see your account's accomplishments.

well, i guess i dont have it as bday present since its not showing when i try to arrange view by bdays...
under the list its says: "Additional miniatures aviable for dispaly: miniature flowstone elemental" but it seemsi cant find it in my inventory..,
oh well i suppose i gotta buy a gold one

HoM doesn't instantly update, sometimes it takes 3-4 hours to update.
Go to work, when you come home it'll be there.

It updates as soon as you restart GW, at least the online calculator. The statue display and list updates instantly.
OP: I'm sorry that you got scammed in this way and someone sold you dedicated mini. I hope you'll be more careful and check the offer before accepting the trades in the future.
