HoM question

Hi, i am returning to GW, and i have almost no HoM points (like 5). if i wait to buy GW 2, and work on my HoM, can i still apply the 30/50 or 50/50 points to GW2 later. I am looking to play GW for a while yet still.

Do i need to buy and link GW2 now and then i can earn more points towards GW2.

Or do points stop applying to GW2 once it is released?

I can't seem to find any definitive info on this. My preferred scenario would be that i can continue to earn HoM points after GW2 release. and when i am ready to buy GW2 i can then apply those points to it.

The only thing I've heard is that you can't earn HoM points if you buy GW after GW2 is released so you should be fine if you already have GW.

Just to add. you can also buy and play GW2. if you unlock more items you can pick them up in GW2 anytime.
