black moa chick question and HOM

This chick that everyone talks about does it count as a mini? I was under the impression that I had to tame it for it to go under fellowship as a pet statue, but I see people selling them.

The Black Moa chick does indeed count as a miniature toward your HoM points. It is not tamed, it is created through a scavenger hunt quest line.

So there are 2 then right? 1 that is tamed by yourself and 1 that is a mini.

No there is only one Black Moa Chick. It's not technically a "minipet" because it's actual size. But it does count when added to the HoM.

The one you tame using Charm Animal is not a chick, but a full grown Black Moa.

I think you are getting the black moa chick and the black moa mixed up. The black moa chick is obtained through a scavenger hunt and counts as a mini toward the monument of devotion. The black moa is an adult moa you tame in Factions and counts as a rare companion and counts toward the monument of fellowship.
