If that is so, why is Nihilum completely transfering from WoW to Gw2?

And Gw2 can't be "failed" it hasn't even properly started yet...

"WoW experiment"? I don't think so; though it does bear some resemblance with WoW, it also shares them with LotrO, Gw1 and other MMORPG's out there...

And last; Gw1 is not MMOrpg, it's a MM/COOrpg hybrid.. learn your facts straight...

I'll be staying with GW1, I'd have to be dragged off the servers kicking and screaming.

GW2 all the way.Giving my GW account to my little brother who just go into the game so he's stoked.

:P

Although I'm sad to turn my back on GW I've pretty much done all I want to in this game and I'm totally looking forward to getting back into active PvP as opposed to only really having JQ and RA as options when guildies are busy.I've also found GW to have changed a bit too much for me in regards to it really feeling like an offline RPG at times, especially since the 7 hero change.

Players just seem to do 90% of the game without even teaming up anymore which saddens me, although I completely understand their reasonings and motivations, especially when the majority have been so focused on HoM.It's just totally different to the "good old days" when hero teams werent so OP.I'm glad they changed this in GW2 and I'm looking forward to actually being able to play with guildies instead of just talking crap while we are all doing something completely different with hero teams.PuGing and meeting new people again will be wicked.

It's been good times but I'm looking forward to something new and catching up with my friends that have also made the move.

I'm sticking around.
Especially after the initial reports of basic control issues in GW2.

Even with the massive amount of time I've devoted to this game, I haven't finished all campaigns across all characters, haven't hardly touched dungeons or elite areas (went to FoW once, before 8 Heroes, and haven't been back since), and have only just started the GW: Beyond content.

I've managed to get GW working again after about a year of absence. I WILL be moving to GW2 but right now:

1. Too broke
2. Have nothing to run it on
3. My boyfriend won't be able to play until Christmas so we're going to start it together (and he's buying me the game and a new computer as a late birthday gift)
4. Still have BMP to do even though I'm done with GWAMM and have 42/50 (not THAT bothered about 50/50 but it's something to do)
5. Want to replay the campaigns before moving to GW2
6. I want to wait for the initial bugs to be fixed
7. It's going to be absolute chaos over there to start with
8. I still love the first game and there's enough to keep me going for a while, even solo
9. Still holding out for more GW:Beyond in the form of Elonian content >:
10. I really want the servers to stay up til 2015 at least so I can get my mini celestial pony at Canthan New Year D:

Not playing either game. GW because already got 30/50, and GW2 not for a LONG time. 200 PLN for a Guild Wars game is a joke (Borderlands 2 costs 120), since all previous games costed only 130 PLN. Terrible controls, graphics aren't that amazing and even watching gameplay live on streams looks like Aion or WoW more than GW. It simply looks unimpressive.

Might buy it for the lore, if it's worth it, when the game costs half of what it does now.

If the pattern set by GW1 holds, that won't be for a looooooooong time indeed.

I tried if GW2 runs on my current pc (a several years old gaming notebook).
Not really.
I can create characters, thats the best thing i seem i can do.
GW2 looks not very good on lowest settings, though on lowest settings it does look like it will look awesome on high settings.
So, i'll continue playing GW1 untill i find a good new gaming notebook.

I wasn't eligible for the headstart due to my choice of retailer, but I'll be playing GW2 once my new PC is assembled next week. I used another PC on launch day to create an account so I could reserve names and join my guild's server.

I may return to GW1 very rarely for a few more HoM points, future content updates, and festivals.
