Beetletun not loading?

I went in from the map and it is stuck at 0%. So I closed game, relogged and still not loading with that toon trying to get in. Anyone else having issues there or anyone know what is going on?

I can't get into any instanced zone at the moment. All cities/outposts are fine, but I've tried around 20 different instanced zones and they are all stuck at 0%.
Probably you should take a break and come back later. =P

yeah now that I look at it I was supposed to be heading to bergen hotsprings from the map (I left from beetletun) so it has me enetering a place I am not supposed to be entering, which is weird. But I just logged into another toon and got into the hotsprings no problem.
EDIT: LOL pushed my luck and went to bettletun and now stuck on this guy too.
Oh well so much for that idea....

Just saw this note on Facebook...
Makes me miss the GW2 beta, where they actually send out this kind of warning in-game rather than assuming you're checking Facebook/support forums while you play.

It would be nice if they maybe moved the time window of the planned 'emergency' maintance so it didn't always coincide with the US prime time. At least it has for the past 4 I've seen.

It is good to see that a lot of northern american people are playing this game. sad that there is soo much more panic bout it then earlier (for you this morning) when us europeans had this problem (yeah im a nightzombie that should be asleep right now
).
But as people have been pointing out, there is some emergency maintanance. I don't want to through out excuses but my gw2 client had a big (1GB) update today. so the problem might be that had a spike at your peak time wich they didn' expect. Like I stated in another thread already. no downtime is good, but given the fact that anet isn't asking subs they have a pretty good record when it comes to downtime (not saying you shouldn't panic over downtime, it shows dedication to the the game and thats what is needed to keep gw1 alive, if people wouldn't care I would start to worry)

Given the outages on the number of machines I've seen on their network, I'd guess they're upgrading and/or replacing hardware after review of their stress tests. Nobody likes an uptime disruption and I have a strong intuition that GW2 will be running on the same machines which host GW1 (undoubtedly in the same datacenter cage, anyway). I believe what may be going on is future proofing the hardware end of things for us to enjoy the same reliability as GW1 has provided.

Emergency maintenance sounds more like a server died than a planned upgrade or anything. It's not like you can really predict those.
Other possibilities include some really bad bug that was discovered; don't want people to crash the servers or dupe or w/e.

Same problem. Just happened today on three different characters, at three different zones, on two different accounts. >_<
