Just checking...since the "emergency" downtime on 08/22/12 I haven't been able to check my progress in the HoM Reward Calculator.
It just says Error Loading Character (please check spelling) regardless of what I type in.
Are the HoM rewards frozen for a time now until GW2 settles down?

Since they just released a article on How to get your HOM items in GW2 and also stated that you should be able to shortly link it, I suspect they are working on the back end system so people who have not yet linked GW1 to GW2 can do so before the 25th.

The calculator itself still works so long as you have a direct link to that persons HoM, it's just the name search that seems to be borked atm.

Expanding on what Blu Haze said; I just went to the HoM page and noticed there was a "demo mode" link. Clicking on this will take you to a demo HoM page:

Take out all of the "A"'s and replace them with your character name (you don't need quotes). For me:
http://hom.guildwars2.com/en/#page=m...ls=anuk nanook
hit return takes me to:
http://hom.guildwars2.com/en/#page=m...ls=anuk+nanook
which seems to be what I'm after.
Ignore or at least amend the above: It doesn't work - sorry for the bad advice.
