GW2 just around the corner, moving on like I assume most of us are, but I don't happen to have 50/50 yet. My hope is that I can get a build together that allows me to semi afk my way through as much content as possible.
Ranger main, and kill time isn't much of an issue. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Guild Wars 2: "AFK" Build?

You can semi-afk through most vanquishes but that's it. You have to pay attention in dungeons, most missions if doing bonuses, and elite areas. You can also semi-afk by asking someone for help and then letting them do all the work, but that requires really nice friends.

Short of paying someone to do your work for you, you can't really afk in gw (execptions being glints challenge and GoM survivor).
As people have said, a good heroteam can CSpace most VQs.
The HoM rewards are not for people who've not put in the effort. If you want them, work for them. 30/50 -> 50/50 is not an easy run unless you put in time and a fair amount of money.

It amazes me when i see people wanting to afk gw for titles etc , I often think "why the hell did they bother getting gw if they afk most of the game" and with gw2 on the horizon Its also "How are they going to play gw2 - afk as well ?"
I always assumed that "a game" is something you play either alone or with others and not something you load up and go afk.
Theres alot of players who have bought the game , played it , done titles etc and what they have to show is THEIR ACHIEVEMENTS and those who afk it have achieved jack ....
Heres a good idea - instead of wasting cash on a game that you will spend ages afking on - why not donate the money to a good cause and that way you actually would have achieved something.

Take this:

Swap one of the surge mesmers for a panic mesmer:

You can pretty much just walk forward a few feet, let them murder everything, and then walk forward a few more feet. you still need to drive them around some, but they'll take care of things mostly. Due to having the undead wall, the undead will have a tendency to run around and aggro anything roughly in the area, so it's less farting than you might imagine.
I would drop death nova from the MM and swaps for SoLS. Mostly because I hate the MM being 20 seconds back perpetually casting death nova.
if you plan on doing this in hardmode instead of NM, swap one of the rits for a ST rit http://www.gwpvx.com/Build:Rt/any_Soul_Twisting_Hero
