Guild Wars 2: "AFK" Build?

GW2 just around the corner, moving on like I assume most of us are, but I don't happen to have 50/50 yet. My hope is that I can get a build together that allows me to semi afk my way through as much content as possible.

Ranger main, and kill time isn't much of an issue. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. AFK i assuming you mean Away from keyboard. 50/50 is different beast then 30/50. Depend what you do in regard to the point under honor section is pretty much lot of work. Vqing, finishing HM/NM mission, Mapping, Farming for PvE title... I just can't see any of them you can semi AFK unless you pay someone to run it for you.

However any fully runed heros build should allow you to ctrl+C most of it. Just read over the Ai thread I'm sure you can find a 7 hero build that fit you. For most Vq and mission most fully mod hero team can work anyways.

Ranger main, and kill time isn't much of an issue. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Hom rewards are a reward for dedication to the original game. So there is no afk way of getting a lot of HoM points. it requires time and effort as it should be.

It amazes me when i see people wanting to afk gw for titles etc , I often think "why the hell did they bother getting gw if they afk most of the game" and with gw2 on the horizon Its also "How are they going to play gw2 - afk as well ?"

I always assumed that "a game" is something you play either alone or with others and not something you load up and go afk.
Theres alot of players who have bought the game , played it , done titles etc and what they have to show is THEIR ACHIEVEMENTS and those who afk it have achieved jack ....
Heres a good idea - instead of wasting cash on a game that you will spend ages afking on - why not donate the money to a good cause and that way you actually would have achieved something. The self righteousness and ignorant assumptions people are making here is disgusting. I bought the game, and have played for months, and earned plenty, but not all.

As far as how important the accomplishments are, I'm going to assume you all have a serious bone to pick with Anet, since they have spent months making many things significantly easier to get, like basically giving away a free Tormentor weapon. God forbid they start nerfing things after GW2 goes live.

If I'm moving to the next game, I don't think its unreasonable to want to still try and get something done here with at least minimal effort.

If you have nothing to actually add to the thread, then kindly remove your head from your behinds and spew your hatred somewhere else. How sad it must be to put so much stock in what other people do with their time.
