monk's purge signet question

will it remove all hexes/conditions regardless how much energy you have (dropping it to 0 energy).? Or will it only remove what you can "afford" in energy?

I think the bigger question is....why would you want to use such a terrible monk skill?

Btw.. yes it only removes what energy you can afford to remove...( making it a horrible skill)

The first note in the Notes section on the above linked page suggest otherwise;

"Energy is deducted after the conditions and hexes are removed and cannot subtract energy below zero. "

It does remove all conditions and hexes regardless of how much energy you have, and can be used with focus swaps to keep energy after using it. It's still a pretty situational skill because the recharge and cast time are long.
