Map notes

A great addition to GW2 would be map notes. A way to be able to put little notes in areas on your big map. It would kind of be like marking a way point but this could be permanent and when you click it, the note would open above it or something of the sort.

Such as:
1. typing a note so you can remember what karma vendors sell so you dont have to jump around trying to remember.

2. Where your favorite events happen.

3. Where good materials spawn.

This list could go on.

Just an idea I was thinking of while trying to find karma vendors with my bulk goods.
