How do i make a difference betwen this 2 axes in trade channel . I was trying to buy from Kamadan today( tyrian Skin), found one but is Insc purple. As i remember some people told me that Serpent Axes ( Tyrian skin) can be dyed and of course they drop oldschool only . The guy that i was trying to buy , i was going outside and told him to use a Dye Silver on the axe and the enire axe was dyed silver , but still not sure if it was the same axe from the trade channel ( in trade channel does sems to be dyed ).
1. Serpent Axe ( Tyrian skin ) - they Drop Insc to ? If they do from where - Zaishen chest?
2. In Trade channel how do i know is the same axe from inventory .
Im very confused yes , hope someone will answer and help with some answer , some screenshots . Is very easy to be scammed with this Axe , people will say is Tyrian Skin , but instead is Canthan Skin.

1.AFAIK if either axe skin has a insription slot then they weren't "drops" but came from an end chest/zaishen chest. If no inscription slot then they were drops from foes (since tyria and cathan drops have no inscriptions). I hope that information sorta helps.
2. Hard to tell which axe is which unless you have one of each visible in the window at one time. Otherwise the way to tell is what part of the axe is affected by dye.

I guess you really have to pay attention to the dye changes during the trade chat window.

the person who knows the most about these is the OP of that thread....she tried to explain it to me one day...but I think (what I remember) is that the ONLY way is to have the person equip it so that you can see the difference (there is a similar issue with an old green from sf). Dont think I have seen Luny on, but she would be the person to ask.

yeah, she hasnt been around in quite some time, but that thread does a bit of explaining about the differences...so its all we have right now (dont even know if she is playing that other game even).
