I tried looking it up, but it's really hard to parse through the info while keeping updates in mind.
So is this currently possible?
I never attempted the Deep before as I was a solo player and back when, you couldn't even enter without multiple players, and I wasn't playing when they updated so we could have 7 heroes in a group.
So I decided to give it a go with heroes, as it seemed at least attemptable. But of course I got to the spot where you have to have 5 players stand on the wooden shell platforms to open the gate...
Of course with heroes I can flag enough to open the gate, but then no one can get in before it closes.
I could see a Monk primary with Assassin secondary possibly doing it as they could dash from the closest wood panel (maybe needing Dwarven Stability) before the gate closes and then teleport rez (Rebirth) the rest past the gate. But as a Warrior I can't take Rebirth and Dash in order to get through the gate...
Is there any other way to do it? And would a Monk/Sin be able to do it as I described?

Thanks for the explanation. :P
I suppose I could get a hero with Rebirth and one of these and that should do it.
Thanks.

I've done it with 7 heroes before, at least once. I don't remember my exact team build but it was heavily inspired by this. The thing to remember is that I Am Unstoppable will make it easier to pull the final Kanaxai. It was annoying and rather hard, but it was possible.

No problems getting through the map now, but I'm now having problems with Kanaxai himself.
I tried reading the Heroway guide posted above, but it's a bit confusing. It says to flag the Hero's at the door, then aggro Kanaxai and pull him to the left wall. Knock him down, then use recall to zap back to the Hero's. Then do the same thing again and next pull him to the right wall and finish him. This is supposed to make it so he doesn't spawn any more shadows when you knock him down.
I hadn't read that yet when I tried it, so I didn't have recall. I did have YMLaD though to knock him down. So I tried knocking him down at the wall, having a Hero use Rebirth on me, and rinse and repeat. No matter how many times I did it though he just kept spawning more shadows.
So is there some fundamental difference that makes recall work, but not rebirth?
Is it the fact that I'm dying and thus resetting him?
If so wouldn't using recall to get out of his aggro range reset him as well?
Another thing that confuses me is that the Deep guide on Gwiki says that he spawns shadows all four times you have to knock him down, but the Heroway guide only mentions two waves...
No idea....

You mustn't aggro the spawns. As long as wave 1&2 are alive, wave 3 won't pop up.

Ahh, that makes sense.
So I have to make certain that he's as far against the wall as possible so I can hit him the second time without aggroing the first group.

doest matter wich profession you play , as long you have a Icy Axe/sword/daggers etc on your weapon. one of you hero must have Spinal Shivers ( Necro hero ) and put your hero to cast on kanaxai and use Icy mode weapon , is gone be intrrupted everytime , of course after you KD 2 times Kanaxai . For monks is good to have UA because they resurect fast as well . Another tip that i was using on my heros for good armor i been using those green shields VS demons from Doa + caster spear ....good luck

I did end up completing this with Heroes. Thanks for the tips.
