How about give us a chance to get those ever-elusive EL Henchman Tonics that only one of each were made. Some are banned and on inactive accounts.
So I propose Anet make them drop from the HA chest as a very rare drop! Who knows it may help HA become more active.
The HA Henchmen can drop from HA chest and the GvG Henchman rewarded for GvG.
What do you guys think, love it or shove it?

Release EL Henchmen Tonics for HA Rewards

To start with, I have to admit that I don't like the idea of releasing these tonics again at all. They are supposed to be unique trophies from a contest!
If they are on inactive accounts, so be it.
If they are banned, it is the fault of the owner.
We have to accept the fact that some of these tonics will be lost forever, and I want to add that it is really a shame. What comes next? Kanaxai Miniatures from the Deep Chest? This miniature got banned at several occasions as well and is really hard to obtain. It is basically pretty much the same thing.
I don't really believe that many people will come back to play HA just because of the tonics. I would even say that these tonics would even attract more Synchers, abusing the system.
I propose that there should be more more Drawing Contests again, with whole new prizes. You can design new NPCs for future events. This is just an example.
This all for now.
Regards, Baddie.

considering how much I paid for mine, I sincerely hope they do not re-release them.

That was your choice in paying whatever it is you did. Anything you buy you should accept the price may go up or down.
Auron of Neon
Yeah, but he bought it with the understanding that it was the only one ever made, given specifically to the person who won the contest. That's not the same as buying ecto and getting mad that the price goes up or down. Players shouldn't need to be prepared for the company artificially altering the price by releasing waves of what was once a special, limited-edition item made specifically for the player who won the contest.

Well I think you guys are right. But arenanet has had a history of re-releasing stuff (rares in 7th yr presents, celestial pigs, wintergreen weapons) which makes me surprised they didn't give out any Zippys this year.
I don't know what they're doing...they say no new content and yet they do these little things...what exactly IS there commitment level to GW1 players? Are they catering to the gw2 crowd who comes back to gw1 for HoM? I can't figure it out.
As far as the EL Henchmens - if they did re-release them they'd be almost impossible to get because HA is so inactive. Look at the rarirty of EL Ghostly Hero, Mini Ghostly Hero and Rift Warden.

Welp, on one hand it is true that they re-released a bunch of old items,
such as the famous Celestial Miniatures or the Wintergreen Weapons.
On the other hand however, you can hardly compare those items to unique contest prizes in my opinion. They are meant to symbolize something special, you had to put a lot of creative effort into your artistic artwork back then.
As for the Cele. Pigs, basically everyone was given the chance to get those back in the day during the event.
The Henchies however are in my opinion meant to represent and preserve the uniqueness of the person who designed them. If they feel like selling their tonic(s), so be it, it is their own personal choice after all. If they feel like behaving in an irresponsible way with them, they have to deal with the consequences that they might end up on banned accounts.
Wouldn't a re-release devalue their original genuine meaning and artistic value? Think about it.

Magic the Gathering has similar issues, but with real money. Power Nine collection is a retirement plan.
Even if Anet didn't have such a history, it's something that should have been put into consideration before purchase.
