Then tell me what to think if this?
Isn't the stance Arenanet currently takes on apparantly easily fixable issues, which were mainly caused by non-tested updates, a bit rude? I mean...these players only wanted to point out that since west-european (gmt+1) people are a large chunk of the population and that their vote is of importance. Having the only available AT as late as 11 pm means that these players can't play due to having to work the next day!
"You can relay your feedback about Guild Wars on the Guild Wars fansites and the Guild Wars social media (Twitter or Facebook). So I’ll close this thread."
hmm...well they can of course post their opinion on GwGuru, Twitter, or Facebook..but I'm not under not the impression that Anet really cares about people posting feedback about a game they mostly want to forget..
"About the times of the Automated Tournaments: unfortunately they do not adjust for daylight savings and this is not something that anyone here has time to change unfortunately."
That's it... the conclusion. "What are you guys still doing there in that stupid old game? Come play Guild Wars 2, its so much better, you can buy awesome hats in the gem store guys! O wait, you don't want to? Oh well, in that case we'll start bullying you with "updates" like removing teleportation after 8 years and screwing up the ATs."
In my opinion, their current stance is rude, it's like a dismiss...
how do you experience it?

What makes me rage more about this situation is this quote in particular:
They just sad it. Aloud .
They don't even hide with evasive answers anymore.
When you have such a huge development team (+300 employees) and not even one, just one of them can't take care of their "older baby" it seems that they won't give a crap for us anymore. Actually they don't.
I wish people would be more active about this. But oh well..

actually they have said "You can relay your feedback about Guild Wars on the Guild Wars fansites and the Guild Wars social media" thing in the past--so its nothing new (even before gw2 was out they said that, even before the 'official' forum they said that, problem is they dont read those, never really did).
The fact that they dont care is also nothing new, but now that they have been putting it in words----a very sad thing.

The whole official forum is a farce. It's meticulously designed to suppress discussion of any sort and quell any dissent. The criteria for posting are so narrow that it barely merits the status of a forum. Also, the mods behave like condescending school teachers.

It isn't a technical problem so it doesn't need to be fixed and therefore people were using the wrong means of communication.
What they did was effectively like starting a thread in Sardelac saying; "ANet please change the timing for Automated Tournaments".
Anyone with a sensible mindset knows that ArenaNet aren't interested in making any changes to the game that will require any sort of prolonged development time, testing, etc. Know one here knows how much effort it would take to make this change.
They probably also don't want to set a president for changes. A dozen people say "please change x to y" for something, next they know is 30 people want something else and they aren't in a position to make changes.
This is just another part of the game people will have to work around.
