I think it's still tens of thousands but it's just a shadow of pre gw2 days.

The only outposts that regularly have more than 1 district are Kamadam and presearing Ascalon.

People do a bit of Zaishen quests, elite areas, and PvP. Even those areas are a bit rough at time. Find an active guild in a good alliance.

enough people play GW, its just that not many teamup much anymore
but yea, guilds enough, to find your place and teams, or on this site (which is prolly the only real active fansite of GW to find teams on)
