what exactly will a petition do? its not going to bring anyone back, anet doesnt decide who plays or not, its the individual who does.

How exactly would any of that actually bring anyone back, much less the large numbers needed?

None of that addresses any of the multitude of reasons that people have quit GW1 PvP.

No petition nor bribe will bring back GW1 from the dead.

It may still have some players true, but the ANet team can't waste time with an almost 8 year old (and dead) game when there's so much work to do on GW2.

The game ran it's course simple as that.

I dont think even a full rewrite will help gw2, gw is still a good game 8 years out, dont know if pvp can be brought back --and even if they do revamp it, most of the peeps who played it are very long gone.

The oly way to revive it , is to form a big group of ppl who awnt to play HA.
Dont know if u saw it but HA was "pretty" active the last days.

and the only way to contoll time is in a guild. so if u want to play leave ur guild and join urs. we are very pvp active, GvG, HA...might not be super pro in GvG but ow its about HA.

Too late now. Except if you bring back formats such as hero battles, or allow hench parties in PvP, there won't be activity. I've been saying that for xx months...

These solutions would create ways to play for a small population. For today's formats, you need a too big population. You get an example in HA when 3 teams are in : the random ones get farmed, and the " guild " ( let's say the classic team) wins matchs until others had enough losing...

NPC's barely have any AI to affect the outcome of a match now. They are simply defense mechanisms to help hinder the advance on a base for someone to go straight on to a lord. There is no VoD to abuse the AI mechanics.

In case you haven't noticed, GvG is mostly all about playing for the endgame unless there is a flux that allows actual player kills to happen more frequently (such as November 2012).

The Knights ball up for AoE and killing them is a huge boost towards winning the endgame. Killing the other team's Knights and keeping your own lord pit alive is virtually an auto-win. Hence, balling NPC's is still very relevant, even if not quite as much as it was with VoD. Having a Dervish in your build is pretty much a requirement with the current game mechanics.
