I have a level 9 character in Prophecies and I'm doing quests with mobs that are several levels below me. I can't find any info on zones and mob levels.
How do I figure out where to go to level efficiently?
Questing

Just play the storyline and you should find that the baddies are similar levels to you.
It could be that you spent too long in the lower level areas and have levelled up disproportionately to how far you have progressed.
Less of scenery appreciation, resting to take in the view snd sipping lattes in streetside cafes, and more rushing through the primary quests and missions will level you up faster.

In this game questing is more optional than anything else. You can do quest for enjoyment, rewards and lore. But you won't need them for leveling or anything else 95% of the time. Just do the primary quests and missions like mentioned above and you will be fine.

You could follow the primary questline with all the missions, and skip the peripheral quests.
But you could also complete all the quests as you go, if you want. There is a lot of good lore, and great music, along the way. Also you might find others need the same quests, and you could meet people by teaming up.
I remember my first toons doing every single quest in Old Ascalon. Got so sick of that ugly landscape, it made it that much sweeter to get to the next area when the time came.

Thanks. I found a list of primary missions and quests and will focus on that.

Since you're playing Prophecies:
There are also Qs which reward skills. I would suggest you also do those. Otherwise you'd have to buy skills. And that gets rather expensive after a few skills.
Not all of the rewarded skills will be useful, but still.

I had a black dye drop and got 9P from that. I can afford to buy a few skills.
