Can't connect to GW servers

Hi everyone!
I started to play GW almost 3 weeks ago and everything was alright until today.
Since 1 hour and half I'm trying to connect to any server but I'm unsuccessful. Everything web related seems to be ok: i can go to google, check my e-mails, visit this forum etc. so i suppose the problem is in GW. I can't visit the main technical support site (guildwars/support.com), too.
Anyone has the same problem or people are playing normally? Should i try to connect later?

I am able to log in with no problems (USA).
Where are you located (america, europe, asia)?
I heard there have been some issues with the european servers--if you are there that might explain your inability to connenct etc.

Thanks! I'll try to give more deep informations. I'm in Europe, Italy. Yesterday i left my characters on the International server. Now when i click on GW.exe, the news that usually appeared on the right side of the login screen (Halloween event, etc) appear only if i change the language text. After i put my data account it says "Connection to the servers..." and after a while "Guild Wars was unable to connect to any login screen servers. This is very likely caused by an internet routing issue".

I'm not a computer technician, but it seems so odd to me... Every site on the internet works to me, except for guildwars.com and GW game, so why should it be an internet routing issue of mine? I didn't change any router/firewall/modem configuration, too.
I'll try to wait until tomorrow but what if it doesn't change anything? Any suggestions?

actually its a guildwars issue, and not much you can do about it; though these kind of issues usually get more attention than other issues (like halloween not starting)...so there is a pretty good chance of it getting fixed soon.

(no idea if its affecting gw2...if it is then, there is a huge probability of it getting fixed quickly).

Yes, it was a temporary problem with the GW servers. I waited and now everything seems to be normal again and i can play the game
