the 24 hour auction dump is not cutting it anymore

i rember when i first used the guru auction forum it was great. but now there are so many people using the good system that a new sale lasts about 20 minutes on the front page. now im not saying get rid of the timed bumping rule. im saying lower it to 3 hours.

Then everyone bumps every 3 hours, and the effect is still the same, except those that can't log on every 3 hours gets the shaft. We're not going to change the rule.

That would actually have the opposite effect. We all ready have enough people who do not read the rules and bump within a 24 hour period. Try using the new Guru Auction System where a seller can more easily find your items and you can do reserves, buy it nows, etc. It might create better exposure if that is your concern.
