War in Kryta - Can I. ...

Hello all,

I’m playing with a friend of me, who wants to discover Guildwars.
In a few days, we will be, I hope, in Lion’s Arch (if the Charrs don’t eat us).

My main character have access to the quest “War in Kryta” in Lion’s Arch. So my question is :
Can I take the quest, group with my friend (who cannot do this quest), then go and find some Boss that only spawn during “War in Kryta” to help my friend capturing some Elite Skill (like “Barrage” for exemple that can be found on a Boss in “Riverside Province”) ?

for the war in kryta...no
if you party with someone who has not gotten far enough to access it, the spawns will not happen --the boss will not spawn.

(that being said--the war in cantha will allow you to take with characters who have not accessed it yet....anet changed their tune).

so short answer no (if you have eye of the north barrage is pretty close to the first outpost there to cap).

I had wanted to do that as well (aura of the lich--which you cant get until the final mission in prophecies is outside beetletun in wik...but alas, since my character had not gotten far enough to access it --the boss would not spawn).

Yep, you can get Barrage from Groknar Weazlewortz from the second quest from the "The Missing Vanguard" chain.

me bad was thinking of a different skill (prepared shot)....but against the charr is the first ebon mission/quest so its not tooo far---and not too terrible hard to do (used to be ran a lot).
