I’ back on this game.
A few years ago, I have done a lot of prophecies / nightfall / factions missions with success, but I never manage to use any storybooks.
I have read that you can, retroactively, “fill in” the books, but there is a timer for this – 1 or 2 months. And If you don’t do any missions in that time, then
You won’t be able to retroactively fill in the book.
My question is : If I do ONE prophecies mission (for exemple), will this reset the timer, and allow me to retroactively validate ALL this Prophecies Missions I have done 2 years ago ?
Thanx
Storybook - retroactively

I hope that answered your questions.
Quote:
You can receive retroactive credit for a task even if you failed to bring the storybook with you during the mission/dungeon. Visit the relevant NPC within 30 days and pay them 100 Gold per task. You can extend that grace period by another 30 days if you complete another mission/dungeon from the same book (in Normal or Hard mode). |

Well ... Not really.
I Will try to do 1 mission to see if I can validate the book for all the missions.
I fear I Can only get credit for the mission I just done.
Thank you for you answers.

you will only get credit for missions you have done in that month...any others it will see as not having been done...
example:
I did the first 6 missions in the prophecies storybook today, however, I had forgotten I didnt have a book ....so I got a book..went to the historian guy and for 100 gold (each) he filled those pages in....on another character I checked my books and see that I had not filled in a bunch of pages, knowing that I had done all of those missions (I checked the M and see them completed) I get a book and go to the historian guy--he wont fill them in ...so I redo one of them????....(without the book)...he will then fill that page in for me for 100 gold.
so the answer is you will ONLY get credit for missions completed in that time frame (me thoughts were one month and barely that)....if you have done them before that--you must redo them to get credit in the books for them. (I can explain why if you need that reasoning).

no problem,
yeah the storybooks came out many many many months after most people finished prophecies and factions....so to get those 2 filled out required repeating them again--which for factions isnt too bad since you get some nice faction for it, not really great for prophecies though....but it also suggested that people replay those storylines which is great for the game (since its a great game to begin with).
