A 1st for me. You?

In the 8+ years I've played I've never had more than 1 gold weapon drop from a single foe kill(though one time I did get a gold weapon and a gold Passage scroll from a single foe kill), untill today when a boss dropped 2 gold shileds at once for me. Neve realy considered the possiblity frankly.


So my question now is; Anyone ever get more than 2 gold items, even if one of them was a scroll, from killing a single foe?

Follow-up question; If so, did you get 2 or more golds NOT durring a special event like the Birthday Event currently taking place? I'm wondering if the special drop mecahnics for the event effected/caused this outcome.

I can't say I've seen two simultaneous gold drops, but I have seen a screenshot of someone in Grenth's Footprint getting all three greens, an elite Mes tome and a lockpick from the same boss. I don't think it's unusual for bosses to drop multiple things at once, but again, I can't recall seeing a pair of golds before.

I have gotten a blue scroll and a gold weapon from a boss, and I got THREE superb charr carvings from one of the charr prison guards. But nothing good like 2 golds before. (think I got a gold weapon and a green from a low level boss I was farming around wintersday--but didnt take a screen of it)

Ahh see, another special event oddity. The plot thinckens!

can't remember i ever head 2 golds from 1 foe before....
but i'll keep grinding senkai a bit more now^^

I did back when you could solo farm the ettins in Beetelton for runes.

I want to say I've seen two golds, but I will not swear to it. I did have a gold, a gold scroll, a green, a dye, and gold pieces (more than once)...maybe a white or blue item in the mix there, too. The EotN bosses, especially, can drop a load of items.

I think it is indeed possible, although it rarely happens. Never happened to me yet.
