Slow Loading Pages on this site

Has anyone else experienced a slow down on this site? Over the past 3 or 4 months, I spend a lot of time waiting for "connecting to...." Waiting upto 2 minutes for pages to load. I have been on 4 different computers and 2 different browsers with the same extensive waiting. I have no problems with any other sites loading quickly.

Please tell me I am not the only one.

I haven't had any problems. I'm usually on during the American off-peak though so maybe that has something to do with it. Using winxp and latest version of Firefox.

I have only had a few issues, but I think its my isp and not the site.
This one is slower than most sites, but not significantly enough.

I just don't get it. I fire up the computer, click on Firefox and instantly Yahoo is loaded. I open my bookmarks, click on GWG and almost instanly load the main page. I long in an a short wait to get to the forums page. I then scroll down to the "Off Topic ......", and I wait and wait and wait. Sometimes to the point of hitting the back arrow. I come to the site feed back and wait, wait, and, well you get the point.

I am also beginning to think (conspiracies), Microsoft wants me to upgrade to Win 7, because since they no longer support XP, my malware, anti spyware, etc, are finding things after every online session. Didn't use to be that way.

I still use xp (have no inclination to move to anything else)....what browser version are you using? (mine is VERY old). I do notice from time to time there are a few ads that are VERY slow to load (here), and sometimes one may get 'stuck' thus making it slower to load (now if you want a slow loading website I can give you a few.....)
Have you tried it on Chrome?

I visit guru daily, didn't notice anything unusual.
I'm on Windows 8.1 myself using Chrome.
