What Happens When Anet Just Don't Care Anymore?

The sad state of this truly amazing game......

PVE: 24/7 Botting, trolling, spamming, offending, gold sellers

PvP Match Manipulation: GVG, HA and Codex 24/7 sync vs alt acc/ drive by collect some highend drops

you can even watch it on Observer Mode....

and yes all this always happend on gw, but anet fixed it with banns/etc. nowdays anet do zero against it.

If players have lost faith in ANet, it will reflect on gw2 to...

You can't blame people who're synj in codex because there is nobody but for the rest you're right.

And I don't really understand what you mean with : "it will reflect on gw2 to... ". Maybe it's time for Anet to open their eyes and see how they killed Guild Wars...

its rather time that anet realises what GW is to people (and to how many people)
to me balancing of skills to go against farming and such isnt a problem, its more that we want more new stuff

not whole expansions, just small new content like wik and woc.... except you should be able to change back all spawns whenever you want (and do that with wik and woc too)

*joke* if they ever release the elona content they had/have, let at least a boss's name be Wik Woc

i bet that if they kept supporting GW even a lil more, GW would be far more alive nowadays

and tbh, i see more GW suffering from GW2's stuff, cuz many things in GW2 are not wanted to alot of people i heard from, and then GW gets boring as it has nothing new

all they have to do in GW is slowly finish that content, and listen more to their people (not the nerfs people want, but the freedom and what kind of challenge), like NM being not bad at all, and HM being different, real hard
and maybe a bit nicer drop rate for certain things..... some things never drop (especially tropy items)

even bit by bit would do alot, i bet

i think the things OP mentioned are indeed bad to have, but not toward people who play normally, anymore

botting.... what does it do to me? nothing really, botting goes 2 ways, 1 lets its bot farm ecto and sell em, the other lets a bot farm money easily, to buy ecto... kinda balanced, not good, but not that bad imo (not supporting it, as i rather PLAY the game)

trolling+offending+spamming... well, thats in all MMO's, and i havent seen 1 which does it good
i mean, banning someone for the smallest insult will let people quit, but not banning those who really are extremely annoying is a bother too
some could see a discussion as offending too, or trolling, while we also need that sometimes

gold sellers... i dont care tbh, i heard anet banned people for giving away armbraces and plenty of ecto
cant i give away stuff i like to give to others, if i'd be rich enough?
i'm a nice person myself, and i would give away alot if i could farm that good (which i cant due to circumstances... handicaps, limits i have)

someone i know was once banned cuz he was having some bad language with his guild and allies, cuz someone reported him/them
i mean, if a guild or even alliance is like that, wouldnt you rather leave them?

we all have different ideas and opinions over whats worth a ban and not, so less banning might be a bit better for GW now

ps. this is all based on my PERSONAL OPINION, so dont go heavy against my points, its how i see things lately

almost forgot: many people got banned, cuz they walked the same way they did it their previous farms, looking like bots..... hows that illegal?
i'll check the EULA to see a rule "forbidden to walk like a bot".... not really, as i never heard of such rule anywhere
they can check if its a bot, right?

use of offensive language, spamming a chat channel = over hours thats what i mean. many of these clowns do it on gw nowdays because on gw2 they would get banned in a few hours or they are already..


Anet dont bann you for giving away free stuff, they do when u sell the stuff for real money.

If someone starts acting like a jerk, tell him to stop being a jerk. If he just don't get it.. he is going to be a problem that need to be solved. and yes i would leave the guild.

Even RA is rife with bots, synch cheats and griefers. There's nobody reading the reports so it's carte blanche to do as you please nowadays.

Lately, I've been getting gold seller PM's galore in GW2. Plus, I get the feeling bots are rampant in that game as well. If you see some guildless character hacking away at any random creature, no matter what it is, I somehow think "That's probably a bot". So not sure... I think it's a problem over there too.
