Is this game still alive?

Been having a strong urge to replay some of the campaigns but it's really boring to do alone or with no one to chat with. Are there any active guilds left in this game? The guild recruitment forums are completely dead.

there are enough, just search in kamadan america district 1
and be lucky to be in the same tiomezone as most of the guild and alliances people, that seems to be a problem sometimes (i had that, and that was when GW was much more populated, but other guilds did have people who either had no work/school, or were in the same timezone.... or close enough to be seen at daytime)

1 more problem is pvp and faction based guilds/alliances, if you want to do anything the game has, cuz those guilds mostly do pvp or faction based stuff (faction farm, like MTSC and MQSC) to get alot of faction
those guilds nearly never help someone in other areas, sometimes dungeons if lucky, and rarely missions either NM or HM

so try and find the guild which fits you best (i'm in a dead one atm, but wont leave it)
also, if you wanna do normal pve, dont join the guilds which have cavalon and house zu heltzer, they are really addicted to farm faction all day (and i seen em use bots, so some might not even talk)
they change their leader every week, so people will see all their alliance guilds (i know that from the ones holding HzH)

There are nearly always 100-150 people in Kamadan American districts. There always someone recruiting.

Is the game dead?
Not even close. Quieter yes, dead no.

As a member of such a HzH guild I can say that your argument is partly invalid
It really depends on the time when you ask for help or something... So basically we (I see we are in the same timezone) should ask at this time bc all the US ppl are online now.
Furthermore there are always some ppl in my ally who ask if some1 needs help or for zaishen quests or maybe other stuff like vqing or maybe they run a dungeon or so... Pretty hard to get a group for a non-sc of any Dungeon or UW or FoW or DoA tho, but I guess its the same problem in any guild these days.
So just get a look at some guilds & take the guild which is the best for you in your opinion. Guilds bring the activity atm.

hard? nah, the guild i'm in atm is kinda dead now, but when it was alive, people helped with the easiest things, too

faction based guilds are just mostly doing faction based stuff, and z quests and elite areas when they think they got enough faction for the day

i've been in several allies (TIME, PeD, Wckd and some others) which had HzH, and they didnt even bother helping someone on istan with an istan quest
it was so easy, i didnt realise it was done when i helped (as ONLY ONE), and i barely did anything, as my heroes killed those enemies... so someone else couldve made 2 minutes free to help that person

noone else bothered to help, as they probably felt too elite to do such easy things

anyways, in my experience they just become elitists and do nothing but stuff they think is on their level

and since the OP probably isnt doing "elite" stuff now, its best not to join such guilds and alliances

It's still alive but very quiet.

Head on in to Kamadan and see if you can join a guild who's still active. Good-luck.

I've actually found a guild that seems pretty friendly, [DCed]. Thus far they've been willing to put up with explaining all the hc stuff to me thankfully haha. Thanks for all the input guys!
