Update Sept 26 - Banwave + sync stopped!

bans? i haven't seen any bans in years plus the jq bots are already back at it

comedy update: bann wave? i dont see any pve HA r15 syncer or MAT cheater like [avg] banned even when all is on obs^^ and JQ still has 20% Human players...

HA: still bots and sync they just need a bit longer now
JQ: a lot bots already fixed in 2 weeks all are back
Codex: a lot bots already fixed in 2 weeks all are back

Genuinely annoyed by this update as it hit during AB week and killed AB. The only teams going are the same teams over and over again, no diversity in players due to them all flocking to HA.

Edit: It's a good update for those who care about HA I guess.

Anyone else kicked out of the game? I also checked the GW official site as well as the wiki and all three aren't available.

I hope this took a lot of work to do because if they were willing to put work into this it gives a glimmer of hope that maybe, just maybe, they might start doing skill updates again.

I don't even care if it's balanced or not, I just wanna see stuff change and new builds become possible and whatnot.

Maybe even see some old builds come back to life, like 600/smite with the old Spell Breaker and old Holy Wrath, which made vanquishing as a monk with heroes not awful.

1. no skill changes plz, cuz we can actually make builds now, instead of starting over every 2-4 months
2. why the hell change holy wrath? now it works greatly on a hero, as its no upkeep

skill changes are gonna fail with both old and new anet, as old anet changed pvp and farm builds and damaged NORMAL pve too, and new anet changes it into GW2 (water magic being defensive and such)

if they would ever come back, let it just be new content, no more changes
new content for NF would do, and maybe some suggestions we made (i still love proph missions being exploreable, and the more i talk about it, the more "good idea" i hear in GW)
that GW facebook page has plenty of ideas, including pve only skills being stronger at maxed rank, so there's at least a reason to grind more than rank 5
and waht i also like is kurz and lux priests being outside all kurz and lux outposts/towns, so we can choose which we want in a vq
i mean, they ARE the biggest grind to max after all

anyway, new content >>> skill updates lately
people enjoy farming and such, so let them, its no longer a bad thing
as a matter of fact, it would hurt the community who keeps GW alive, and thats a bad thing

ps. i'm NO farmer or solo-er.... unless its lvl 10 enemies and mostly for nicholas

also, i'd prefer if they split all skills into pve and pvp if they cahnge it, and let pve skills be... unless its some necro skills which suck atm, cuz they are no more than minion masters and support, while blood and death magic could do a bit more if anet would help with it

but yea, its fun to see anet does look at GW these days

i'm no pvper myself, but glad to see they do care about GW

They wont give us new content. Content takes way more time than skill or changes like these. This is what we will see of updates if we see anything.

Anyone who can't post without remaining civil ought to at least have the maturity to let it go. Both of you (Ayuhmii and Max) should take something away from this. Further drama won't be tolerated. PM me if you have questions.

You could always make builds, making new ones with the skill changes every few months was a big part of the game's appeal. It kept the game fresh and interesting even when no content was being added at the time.

to those who make own builds, its hard to make new ones if they keep changing skills
what i mean with making own builds is
1. start from scratch
2. dont copy and change pvx builds
3. dont copy other people's builds, even if you'd change it

thats what i mean

thing is, getting buffs/nerfs means you gotta change your char, and then you cant do everything in the game with 1 or a few builds, cuz you have to change alot
so getting skill changes will force you to start over a build or change a skill, while without them, you can easily change whenever you feel like

i do see your point, but what i always saw in GW, is that people liked skill changes so they have a reason to change their builds, while i do it myself alot, without changes
as well as for my chars, as for my heroes

heck, i'm even planning on making decent builds without an elite

if only people had the patience to make own builds more often eh?

also, have you seen "new anet"? they changed water skills into defensive skills, which (as i heard) is also the case in GW2
if they change alot of GW based skills, into GW2 based skills, we'd have only a few which might work, due to the skill limit in GW2

*last thing i like to say for now*
i would like some skill changes to get closer to GW2, like phoenix not healing when overcast, but burning enemies it flies over

anyway, how is GW atm? are there bots again? i heard bots are/were unusable
and is pvp doing well now? cuz i saw fixes which made it harder, and (quote from wiki updates) "Reduced the minimum number of players in a Heroes' Ascent group from 6 to 1" does that affect HA in a good or bad way nowadays?

i dont do any pvp, so no idea whats good or bad about it, but am curious if they did something good with it
i kinda know how GvG goes, and seen AB, but HA i have never seen, so cant say if its good, heh

So what, you just want the gameplay to be stagnant and never change? You wanna just run the same builds forever? That seems boring to me.

same builds? no, i make NEW builds alot, which i havent used yet

see? you live in the pvx world, where people want skill changes just cuz they use discord or whatever enough, and want nerfs, so they have a reason to copy-paste other pvx builds

anyway, if you STILL dont understand this, plz end this discussion, cuz i think i made my point very clear right now

also, new content might give more challenge for those who want it, so that might change the pvx builds
like for example, what if they would make a monster skill for newer enemies which disables target's elites for 10 seconds, and has no casting time? discord wont work well anymore..... at least with a few more skills stronger than normal skills

its not like we need skills to change all the time

i make NEW builds alot, without help of pvx or anything or anyone else, just by myself

EDIT: btw, you can also change the gameplay for yourself, instead of following all those pvx users and people who do anything the same way
GW is built to have many different ways of playing the game, yet most keep on using pvx builds and complain about no skill changes

i mean, use less attribute points, use no runes, use no pve skills or elites, you can make so many builds with what we have now

The same idiot is starting a brawl again and doesn't even know it (hence the idiot classification), gets boring.

they just nerfed op skills and boosted the weak ones. and if u pretend that u change ur skills anyway. it shouldnt effect u much.
but thats anyway since anet clear said that they only do emergency updates.
so u can play yourselfmade builds until the server are shutdown.
and there will be no new content ^^

Definitely a welcome sight to see they still care about the game. While they lack resources and almost all of the original developers it's gone, I wouldn't count out GW1 just yet.

Coast, do you absolutely have to throw more fuel on the fire?
