nowdays more and more new age try hards. sell stuff for phantasy prices. its funny how they pretend the price is legit after they spammed their wet dream price on alt acc in kamdan log chat^^ just to back up the scamm.

some examples: dhuum 825e, destroyer 600e, Kuuna 450e, Varesh 350e

There's no real problem if ppl try to sell stuff for crazy price. The problem move on when idiot pay for it

Never trust prices in Kamadan.

Too many liars, cheats, scammers and greedy people. Anybody who trusts the advertised prices or current offers is going to get ripped off. It's all lies.

its not just kamadan that this stuff happens in ...I can show you RL stuff where folks are loopy about pricing (sometimes its that someone just wont sell until 'their' price is met, other times its because the market is inflated--see housing market pre-2008 USA for more RL examples of that one).

I honestly dont see why anyone would buy an excisting house when u can get one build.

i dunno, but i dont see "higher/lower prices" as scam, i see it as an own price
whether or not it would work is a different story, but people like to call it a scam right away

so if i'd say "WTBuy unded varesh for 10k" i dont scam, i just show i wouldnt pay much more

real prices dont really exist (unless counting grey dye) in MMO's imo, people make it up, and since i'm a part of "people" i can give my prices.... it just wouldnt work as well as the made up prices they say is legit

people on these forums do 1 z key for 4 drops, but people could also do 1 z key = 100 drops, as the 1-4 isnt a real price, its just some people came up with

even (warning, extreme example, yet true) if i'd sell a perfect bone staff without maxed stats (except HSR, dmg, req9 and energy) for 100a i wouldnt scam, i just make my own prices..... as long as i dont say "its worth this much" cuz thats lying.... which does come real close to scamming (or IS scamming)

anyway, yes, kamadan is to laugh at sometimes... until i finally get that polar bear at wintersday :P (i wish and wish) then i'll laugh (sry for this bit offtopic)

People can ask whatever price they want for their merch crap. It doesn't change the fact that it is merch crap. And it's not scamming. Someone paying a lot of a merch crap item is just misinformation of the buyer. And honestly the buyer should have gotten more educated before purchasing. Just like someone selling an item for way less than it's worth also should have taken the time to get educated before selling it.

Scamming is me saying WTS q7 15^50 Crystalline Sword - 250e and then putting in trade a q7 15under50 Crystalling Sword assuming the buyer doesn't see the difference. That's a scam.

Gw 2k14 is full of idiots asking crazy prices. Get used to it, it's only gonna get worse as more people buy ectos/arms and they become worth even less. I'd be willing to bet that 450e will be a good price for a kuunavang in a year. Just my $0.02.

What percentage of these buyers/sellers do you think have purchased their ecto/zkeys online? My feeling is that this is a large portion of the market, which is why the buyers just don't care about the prices.

Side note: I see people advertising sale of ecto for irl money in khamandan all the time. Even though the player base is much smaller now, I would have thought that at least would elicit a response.

Anet seems to think of GW1 as an extension of GW2 atm, so they rarely even respond to anything these days.
