CLOSED Three shields have been sold. Bids for shields 1-2 were in sufficient. I have yet to see buyer of shield 5 ingame.

All of these shields can't drop anymore and probably only could drop during the first year of this game.
I have no B/O's yet, so please don't ask for B/O's.

Prices are updated up to comment #29. Shields 3-6 will be sold on Saturday if there are no further bids. Shields 1-2 will need a few more bids to make me happy.

What happened to you, Max? The lovable, bumbling, always ‘skint’ Borken who aspired to greater deeds is now frequently driving up prices in bid wars and insulting other bidders because his ego can’t handle losing a single shield. With every passing week I see more snide, condescending comments made toward other Guru users. These other people have just as much a right to bid on items as you and I do. [PhD] is certainly not the be-all end-all of this game; it’s just a guild of some people who collect(ed) things. I’m sickened by the airs put on by some of our members on these forums, and the mistreatment of other players who are also part of our GW community. There’s nothing classy or gentlemanly about the way some of you have been behaving. You must know better, and you ought to be ashamed. I’m not a perfect paragon of virtue by any means, by have some respect for people.

Comments like those made in this thread and here reflect poorly on all of us as collectors and as a guild. Stop it.

..i think all that calli said there its called GREED..i know Max for quite some time ..and i think he its one of the finnest guy i have ever met in GW ..he its an example for me..i would probably go nuts too if i see ppl overbidding on the ittems i like the most.

Shields 3-6 will be sold on Saturday if one highest bidder stays in front for 24 hours. If there are still more bids, I will let the auction run 1-2 days longer.
