I can't be the only one with lag issues.

What the heck was going on today with all the lag and disconnects? It was really bad today to the point where Guild Wars became unplayable.
I know it's not my internet, because I went to another online game, no problems. Checked out another online game, no problem. Pinged Google, acceptable limits. Watched some videos on YouTube and re-watched last week's episode of Gotham. No problems. Come back to Guild Wars and it's lag, lag, disconnect, lag, disconnect, rubber band all over the place, freeze in place for five minutes, disconnect, etc. This went on for quite some time.
Am I the only one having this problem with the Guild Wars servers?
P.S. I'm aware that there are "lag" threads in this forum, but I think the newest one is 3 years old and I didn't want to resurrect it.

if you check the gw2 forum, you will see they have been having issues, and since both are run from the same set of servers--its more than likely a gw2 issue that is bleeding over into our game. (and since there seems to be a lot of player coming back to the other game--thus more strain on the servers).

didnt have yesterday (time right now is 10:37AM), but i guess their perfect game called GW2 even has its issues (about it being perfect was pure sarcasm), and those issues will bother their old abandonned child, too
well, should we complain? i mean, the way they do it, GW still is cheap and easy enough to keep online for as long as anet lives

Funny thing is, gw2 was unplayably laggy the last few days for me.
Gw1 on the other hand is running smoothly.

Over the past couple of days, a couple of "red light" freeze ups, lasting a few seconds. Not enough to disconnect, but enough to back out of an instance until things calmed down. Could very easily have been a background program updating.
Also may be time to upgrade to the 50 meg internet, 2 wireless computers and a PS3 having been added. 4 devices running at the same time, could be part of our issues here.

I haven't had any while playing gw2 or just logging into Gw.

I'm still getting them. In fact, typing this out now while lag frozen in the middle of battle with Avicara while doing my Talus Chute Zaishen Vanquish.. Everyone is just standing around looking at each other. Been this way for about 10 minutes now. Just waiting for the
You've been disconnected" message which will wipe my map progress.
While frozen, I watched a couple videos someone posted on Facebook. No lag there. It's definitely NOT my internet.
