I wanted to inquire if this feature is intentionally enabled for guests or just got overlooked in the past. I've noticed that there are some random unregistered votes showing up on this poll, so I decided to ask to clarify.
Thank you.
A question to Marty about voting on polls

The forum software provides two options:
Allow multiple choice: Give users the ability to select more than one answer.
Make votes public: Displays all users who voted, and what choice they voted for.
I ticked the latter but not the former (op only wanted people to pick one). Insofar as I can tell, there isn't a way to restrict the poll to registered users only.

I suppose there is, by making adjustments to voting permissions of Unregistered group. Although, it would be reasonable at first to find out whether their effective privileges are the result of slight oversight from the past, or it's an actual feature which was intentionally specified like that by one of the admins.
The usefulness of such large-scaled anonymous voting remains unclear to me, though.
