I get this too. Presumably the host has run into some kind of issue. Hopefully it will be restored soon.

I have been getting the same thing for the last couple of days or so. I am a bit concerned as it is about the only place on the web dedicated to presearing. I hope it will be back up again.

For those unaware of such technologies, it's still viewable via internet caching services. It hasn't logged the forum though, which is probably the part of most interest. It's also slow, but if there's something you were interested in and the site is down indefinitely it's better than nothing.

When I tried to log on a couple of days back, a Microsoft red flag screen came up prompting me to return to my homepage. Apparently, according to Microsoft, there were phishing attempts relating to the site.
It is odd because, for the first time since I signed up to presearing.com 6 years ago, I started receiving e-mails announcing answers to my posts. I opened the first, which had links supposedly back to the site. I did not click on any links, since I have the site in easy access on my favorites bar, and already knew about the answered posts. Several more e-mails appeared within a 24hr period, I just sent them all to trash unopened. It really was becoming a spam issue.
If anyone gets any e-mails from presearing.com, I strongly suggest not using any of the links within them. That is probably the phishing menace Microsoft described.

Hopefully something similar is brought up for all of us to use.

I have faith that, between them, NA & LP will figure out who is responsible for the problem, and fix the issue. Those two have a ton of computer savvy between them. After all, look at what they put into the site in the first place. I'm sure they will enlist the aid of whoever is necessary, to proceed with whatever it takes, to lift the site from suspension.
Granted, it may take a bit of time, but I'm not ready to start shoveling dirt on an empty grave. It is an illness that will take time to heal. Much more of a pain in the wazoo for them than it is for us. My thoughts go out to both of them as they sort through this mess.

I've talked to some people and it appears that the site is down for good, although I'm not quite sure how reliable that info actually is.
But there is a new site already made.

Oh dear, That's really sad news I wonder if they would be willing to provide a backup for another user to take up the task of keeping the website and forums running...
It would easily be worth the time and effort to run presearing.com and to keep all that history.

Some things can only be abused for so long before there are consequences.
Something was posted that shouldn't have been & it was left unnoticed so it got shut down. Not the first time it happened apparently. They are facing a fine from what I gather.
All the luck on your new site.

NA and Pup have not been interested in keeping PSC up since a short while after GW2 released. They seemed to only keep it up as a duty, or a service to the traders.
that isn't made by any of the old staff

On the brink of war, time went on while pesearing.com stood still in a moment of serenity.
I hope it will come back, as it was a beautiful site.

This is truly a sad day, but I suppose it was bound to happen eventually.

The page has changed further now to; This Domain Name Has Expired - Renewal Instructions.
I wonder if it's worth it to resurrect the old domain and put the new site on there
