Got my final set of armor for now...

Initial dye choice - White top and boots, red mask, gloves and trousers

Current Dye combo, much more fitting to my character and myself. The mix is Gn+R+Bn+Bu

If you want the same effect as "old black" stack two black dyes.
One Black dye makes armor looks like a big black blob. Mix it.

Often I run around wondering where all the textures have gone...

My theory has always been that the majority of the people who dye their armor black don't care about that sort of thing, they do it simply because it's a status symbol.

Pfft, I can spend loads of money on dye and look good while doing it and probably spend more money in the process as black would only be one element in a mix.

I don't really like mesmer before, so I didn't make one until Nightfall was out.
But hell....their armor looks really great.
Those high-end armor costs too much for me...so I'll just go for the a bit lower-end....

fyi the "you cant see" is referring to the boots and gloves. pattern on vabbian looks terrible anyways.

Hermessar does not mean mix the dyes as in the old way, its true you cannot mix 2 of the same dye, "but" you can double click on the dye, click on the armor and then in the preview menu add another dye of the same color.
You will notice that the color changes.

Nolani Blaze, my main character which I play the most. She has a red 15k Kurzick mask also, for Illusion Magic. Soon to get Vabbi jewel armor.
Been through all campaigns, currently at Domain of Anguish and Defend Northern Kryta Province, and Defend Denravi (already completed, but abondoned the quest ^^). Need to clear UW and FoW sometime also, but not my priority.

Male Mesmers are awesome!

I made this with Bethany's tutorial in Photoshop..since I barely know anything about Photoshop XD.

The first picture is Wintersday in Ascalon City, and the second is in the Isle of Solitude.

Also, earlier today when I was deciding whether to buy the Virtuoso set or the Noble set..I noticed that the Courtly Top(1.5k Version of Noble's) and the Noble Top were exactly the same. Has anyone else noticed this or is it just my eyes?

EDIT: Sorry..It should work now..
