ranger sir bertran?

i dont wanna miss any skills before heading to the acadamy and as i understand, ranger trainer sir bertran is the last ranger i need to see, but i cannot find this dude. anyone know where he is?

Finding this guy took me ages...
The short way is to enter Wizard's Folly, take a hard right ASAP, and just head straight until you hit a river. For mesmers, this is where you beat the Skale Brood with Backfire. Then follow the river until you hit a fishing village. Sir Bertran resides somewhere in here.
If you talk to Chantelle the Troubadour [outside Ashford Abbey, near the entrance to Wizard's Folly], you'll get the Hunter's Horn quest. After you find the healing spring in Regent Valley, you are told to go deliver it to Sir Bertran. Just follow the handy arrow.
NOTE: The long way [the one I took] is to go through the snow. If you are an Ele, Fire Storm will help greatly. You have to go through the cave of Ice Elementals near Elementalist Aziure and follow that. As soon as the snow ends, you will see your first Large Aloe Seeds. DO NOT RUSH IN!!! Try drawing them away a couple at a time. Then, just follow the river. Remember to pick up some of those Aloe Roots. I believe Sir Bertran requires them.

ahhhh... you gotta be kidding me 
) every where on the net, it says hes in ascalon city. i was just about to join the acadamy cuz i figured, hes gotta be there. dang mang, i owe ya one! thanks a bunch of lots! why do all the websites say ascalon city? thats lame!

He's in Ascalon after you've been through the academy. I have been confused by this a long time as well.

I believe that the name of the 3rd ranger trainer in Pre-sear is Aidan, not Sir Bertran. It's Aidan that you have to deliver the Horn to. Sir Bertran IS the skill trainer in Post Searing Ascalon.
