Hey all, I just put together a 55 monk for 55/SS runs; I'm using a no req. battle axe. I forget what kind of damage it does, but it is 6-10, with a built in 10% damage increase on hexed opponents. Had it customized for big time damage too . Anyway, I modded it with a 20% enchanting axe grip, so now it's a Battle Axe of Enchanting. What, if any, axe haft would be good for this run. the axe you have now is fine, as you'll never be hitting with it. Don't bother with any axe haft, the only thing i can recommend is icy, in case you're with someone who brings spinal shivers (not for UW runs.) Many people will say furious, but if you're hitting them you'll lose some of your casting reaction time, which can be deadly. I've found it's much safer not to hit anything (especially against smites, who may have SoJ up, which will REALLY ruin your casting time)
