March BWE- new changes
LoneDust
Interesting change made on Determined Shot. It's actually more helpful to builds with low marksmanship now. Maybe that'll encourage more beast masters, wilderness and some warrior builds.
FireMarshal
I was browsing the Warrior skills. I saw "For Great Justice" listed at 15e, isnt it 10e?
Chavi
First, thanks for this very useful post. Sorry for bringing old discussion, but I'm going through the changes step by step and it took me a week. Now I underlined some things, I would like further explanation on. Here it goes:
Would you please explain this to me. It seems that there could be no more than half reduction of speed. At the same time Iron Mist for example states 'target foe moves 90% slower'. So I guess these 50% go to the next skill - the one that will stack - like if the foe is ALREADY slowed, Iron Mist would be capped at 50%?
I would like confirmation on this if possible.
I would like confirmation on this as well.
Also, I'm pretty sure Grasping Earth's energy cost has been reduced to 5.
Best regards and Thanks in advance folks!

I'm 70% sure plague sending does transfer as an adjacent AoE, and 100% sure that quick shot disables your attack skills for 2 seconds.
Nash
GWBot has it as area effect, GWOnline doesn't. Though, I think GWOnline is wrong here.

Hmm, okay, I've noticed discrepancies between our listing and others. Not to mention general confusion. Now, I was very thorough when going over the skills (Which was done late Friday), double and even tripple checking to make sure things were right, but I'm certainly willing to admit I made an error or oversight. There's also the possibility that reality and skill descriptions aren't matching up yet.
Anyhow, here's the things I've notice so far. Anyone able to confirm or deny such things unequivicably?
-For Great Justice! : 10 energy instead of 15?
-Grasping Earth : 5 energy instead of 15?
-Quick Shot : Locks attack skills for 2 seconds?
-Plague Sending : AoE when a condition is transfered?
-Thrill of Victory : Acting odd, linked to something (I raised every attribute, didn't see any effect on the skill even though it had a variable green number) and causing health gain rather than more damage?
-Vampiric Gaze : 10 energy instead of 15?

another one that was brought up in my build thread was the elite status of greater conflagration. it is listed as elite on this site, but not elsewhere..
Nash
This thread over at Guild Hall discusses current state of Thrill of Victory.

I can confirm that Vampiric Gaze costs 10 energy.
Plague Touch doesn't have AoE that I know of. Rather we were discussing Plague Sending - I guess it was a measure to differentiate them.
Also he was commenting on "For Great Justice!" instead of "To the Limit!". I'm fairly certain "For Great Justice!" costs 10 energy

Yep. I goofed on those. That's what I get for relying on memory when editing a post...

Yeah, there's a mystery 5 AP somewhere. I'm guessing you get them as some kind of quest reward.
Remember that at one point you were only supposed to get 5 AP a level, period. The rest would come from completing missions and other quests. That left a bit of a gap and the idea of characters gaining more than that at 16~20th level was put in place shortly before the WPE so that people who actually got to 20th level weren't running around with 95 AP (Which I've done and believe me, it's no fun). Why 16th through 20th? Well, for the WPE everyone started at level 15.
It's another instance of a quick-fix becoming the status quo. Personally, I like it as it makes for a better progression and few "dead" attribute levels. Although it totally spoils my "optimum attribute allocation" tables...

Not sure if you guys covered this... but don't you get skill points for doing missions and such? Or have they removed that?
Bgnome
you get a skill point and 1000xp for completing the primary mission and another skill point and 1000xp for completing the secondary mission.

Thanks to all that replied. I took a look at my PvP character creation screenshots. These were taken at the VERY end of March BWE (like 5 or so minutes before the end, while Gwen was spelling Doom around)
I can't say about the description, but if you take a closer look you can see it's icon has the Elite sign. That's why I'm eager to know the exact effect:

Sorry, needed to split because of the image attachment limit
Elite sign on icon here as well:

Ah, very nice Chavi. And thanks everyone else. The skills have been updated yet again. I'll chalk it up to last minute changes or my own incompetance. Anything else anyone's noticed that's incorrect still?
Zrave
Hrm Thrill of Victory has a recharge now, I believe. 5 seconds maybe?
Disrupting Chop is 6 adrenaline now

Thrill of Victory does have a 5 second recharge. It was in my notes and it was correct on the individual page, I just forgot to update that on the full skill listing. Should be right now.
Anyone else confirm Disrupting Chop?

During the Scandinavian BWE I was able to confirm that Quick Shot is indeed Elite, without additional change in skill effect, and Plague sending indeed sends to ajacent foes. I took a shot of Feral Lunge as well, because I didn't have it's icon and now I've noticed that it's 5 energy (can't see recharge on shot tho). Can anyone of you alphas give info, please, or it's still under NDA?
