I think I remember a while ago I was wasted by a ranger doing an enourmous amount of damage per shot in pvp. I have since got a bunch of ranger spells and equipment and want to try it out, but what does it take?
I was thinking you stack a lot of spirits (that increase dmg output), put on a preparation like read the wind, then use stuff like power shot, penetrating shot etc.?
then a sundering bow string on the bow.
Ive tried things like that but it just doesnt seem to do quite the damage output I hoped for.

check out some other threads... there are many "dmg dealing ranger builds" posted on this site...
on a side note tho... u'll do much more dmg with a 5:1 vamp string then a sundering string

I looked around all over for stuff like that but its all Rangers with swords and shields, but thanks ill go and look again. and ill try out the vampiric bow string and see how that goes

Nvm, seems the only damage dealer out there is that flame slinger variant, works ok i guess.

what number do you mean by enormous?
regular interrupter w/ good gear can deal about 80 by punishing shot w/ string/damage mods.
flameslinger can do even more. w/ dual and quick it goes over 120 easily.(given it's not another ranger or a fireproof char)
