Curiously, they were both 15-21 and req. 8. Unfortunately, neither of them were at all decent.
So I really wanted a decent Flamberge...

Yeah I was on a quest to get a +30 HP always shield with -2 while enchanted and so I decided to give griffs a try.
The shield turned out to be a Req 8 tactics HP +29 always. And while that rox, Im picky so it will do me no good without the damage reduction
Still I am a happy camper because I can sell both items.

Anyways the best part about this run, was I set my att. points wrong and almost rezoned. I put 11 in Hammer Mastery LOL! but I said to myself, no even if it takes longer I have to finish this because there might be good drops. And they were. I got 2 more purple items before I finished, and I almost couldnt kill the last couple of Griffs with Screemingclaw protecting them.

I saw someone in the fissure get two gold max damage chaos axes with low reqs.
...one was +18% deathbane (no damage bonus) the other 16% while hexed. He was so digusted he gave them to me for free, which is nice; my brother's after an axe, and when you think about it, you're hexed very often late in game, especially in the FoW and SF.
