I am doing pub 55hp monk w/ Nec/messer SS/SV/Echo runs in UW. I have a 55monk atm I use Monk/messer:
Skills
Protective spirit
Healing Breeze
Spell Breaker
Mantra of Resolve
Channeling
Mending
Bathazars spirit
Essence Bond

I dont ever have any trouble with energy or interupts. I do have trouble with being over run, Large goups of non ataxes can take me out fairly quickly (the squids, argoing all of them at the begining can hurt).

So say I should be using Monk/W, is that correct?? if so what skills could the warrior bring?? lose mantra of resolve, channeling, bring bonattes defence and ?? what could help with all the interupts?

Thanks, this is assuming the necro brings SS and SV, I found some that dont use SV or dont know to use.

Thanks

I do think a Monk/Messer can solo farm faster (echo/sj)

I run a monk/mesmer build when I do 2 person runs with a SS/SV necro. My build is slightly different, I use the basic 55 monk skills, SoJ, SV, and 2 mesmer interupts skills for nightmare.

For energy upkeep I only use balthazar spiriit. Chanelling and essence bond will just waste your energy and slow down regeneration.

When you take aggro, watch for nightmares and disrupt them with leech signet and/or power drain. Then cast SV on yourself, it will force the nightmare to use BIP because you are draining the atxxe or grasps thus killing itself. But more importantly, it prevent you from being interupted by ataxes and grasps.

Finally,my answers to your question about handling larger groups is maxing out your points in smite and use SoJ. It does conflict with SS but I only use it when I aggro 2-3 groups of grasps or smites. Rule of thumb is on grasps cast SV then SoJ and smites vice versa. Hope this helps.

Or you could be normal and use spell breaker and wand nightmares dead.

Rather than be "normal" I don't use the cookie cutter builds like the rest idiots in the game. I've posted my mo/me build to farm with a ss/sv necro. Maybe you can elaborate on your coment a bit more.
