PURPLE Sickle! 6-17, +14% Dmg (while Hexed)

As the title says, I'm trying to get a price check for the first purple Sickle I've ever seen. Decent damage, decent mod, and purple. Just wondering. Please try to be serious, I'm not posting a picture since I don't have the axe myself, and if I would post a picture, I'd get a million of "OMG, PHOTZHOP H4CKS!!" anyway, which I'm not really waiting for. And even if you don't believe a purple Sickle excist, which probably alot of you don't, who cares? Just give the price check!

I might (I might not) get this Sickle soon, and might (I might not) put it up for auction to see how it goes if I do get it.

The only value that this has is the fact that it's purple, since the 14% when extrapolated makes it less than those sickles that even fetch 1K (e.g. 6-20 damage).

I would put it at 2K from a collector.

IMO through finding a purple means that there other purple ones possible and therefore a 12>50 should exist. People wont splash out on something like this when there are better whites/blues available and when there is the chance of a more desirable dmg mod appearing for sale.

I'd say about 5k from a sickle collector. No less than 1k otherwise.

Strange, it's the first purple Sickle ever PC'ed/sold on this forum, and probably one of the first ones found, I'd expect real collector's to pay quite much, just because of the fact it's rare, that's why they buy Sickles in the first place.

Im sure someone might pay a good amount for it just to say they have a purple sickle, although im not sure who would.

Maybe someone will buy it incase no more ever turn up. But i personally think many more will turn up.

Seriously i think it may go for under 100k. But the collectors weapons are actually usuable that is the difference between theirs and yours...

Happened with dwarven axes everyone was paying fortunes for max dmg white ones thinking purple and gold did not exist and now you can pick up gold ones and even perfect ones. Maybe its the start of purple or gold sickles dropping.

I don't know, there are quite some on this forum. Nef, Rau, Guild Wars Love (sp?), and probably a bunch more.

You guys could be right though, it might just get a bid of 5K.

EDIT 1: The Herbalizer, why would you think that. This is a big forum, and I check more then 1 forum. What if about 1 out of 10 people are on a forum. I'm rather sure all those people together would've seen at least 1 Purple Sickle if it really would turn up many more times. This is probably the first time in 6 six months anyone on this forum heard about one, I wonder why you think many more will turn up.

EDIT 2: Sickles aren't for using, you should know that by now. Even if you could get a 6-28 Sickle, it would never have perfect stats, since it would never be gold. People that can afford a 6-28 Sickle, can afford a axe with perfect stats though, that they will most likely use. Collectors items aren't about how useful they are, but about how rare they are.

face it Collector's are gone... most collectors dont like pvp and pve gets boring after while so they quit or are stupid enough to save up for chap 2 already .. ( imo)

Hmm, this guy I know is asking alot for this Sickle himself. I might buy it for my personal collection, or I can just let it go.

And about the avatar. You can't upload them since about 2 months ago, though, they were never deleted if you uploaded your avatar before those days. So now.. I'm just pwnage.

tell us how much he wants for it and me / other poeple can tell u wether its a gd deal for reselling if u wanna keep it its totally up to u offc.

Well, the trade is rather complicated, since he wants specific stuff, but I think it's about 100K. I think I'll buy it after all, if he ever comes online again.

And yeah, I made a great .gif too, just to find out I can't upload them anymore. I'm glad still have my animated avatar though

Seriously, what's with this theory? This doesn't make sence at all. Just because one has been found, the drop rate won't get 20 times bigger all of the sudden. In nearly 8 months, this is the first one ever posted on all of the big forums together, so probabl indeed, more will drop, but not soon, it might take another 8 months, and it's still damn rare.

Guess I'll just buy it as soon as I can, put it up for auction, and see how it goes, I can always keep it for myself.
