Will they be able to go back

If, I have a character forom chapter 1 and I move into chapter 2 with the same char, will I be able to go back tho chapter 1 with the same char, or is it like DiabloII and once in Chap 2, Chap 1 is inaccesible?

I think you can move your characters from Chapter 1 between both chapters, its still quite unclear though IMO

You mean different character status, like that in diablo2 - Normal and Expansion? Where once you convert normal to expansion you can't go back? No, I don't believe Anet will have something like that.

I believe you will be able to switch back and forth. Why wouldn't they implement this?

I don't know the answer but it would surprise me greatly if a chapter 1 & 2 account could not (aka could not go back) to any portion of the world.

There would be an outcry if you could not go back.

if you can go back i wonder if its possible to sell the new weapons, if so we are gonna see some 1337 scammers.

You wont even notice the differance except more things to do more places to
quest if u are the owner of the new chapter,if not you will still be able to play the game its like going to UW or FOW u have to be ascended to go there but that doesnt stop you from playing the rest of the game
