PC: Staff Wrapping of Domination Magic +1 (19%)

First off I'm a newer player, I've had the game for about a week so I am pretty unsure about what to sell, price and salvage. I had a Gold Defensive Earth Staff of Domination Magic, it was energy+9, armor+ 5 but wasn't max damage so I salvaged it and got the Staff wrapping... was that the right thing to do?

There was one 20% going for 55k, how much does 19% go for?

I need to know how much to ask for this, don't want to be a noob asking 30k for something that is worth 1k.

I just sold for 15k with no bartering on the first person who was interested in it so its probably worth more, but money is nice nonetheless.
