A few days ago I turned level 20 and travelled to some higher level places, fought in the arena and attempted some of the 20k exp quests from Drok's until I finally came accross Deldrimors War Camp.

So I walk in and its packed full of people, three to four English speaking districts. Everyone shouting about forming farming groups etc etc, so im like 'What the hell I can tank'.

After a few whispers later its obvious Ive got no chance of getting in any group cause Im not experienced at tanking in Sorrows Furnace. Ok, I can accept that, they want good tanks to tank. So I get some henchies together make the journey into Sorrow's Furnace and find out Henchies, as they have for alot of the higher level quests/missions are dreadful. I die a few times, I laugh, I cry and I run back to the camp.

My question to you experienced bunch is how do I get real group experience to farm places around Deldrimors War Camp without being allowed into non-hench groups?

By the way im a W/N who uses a shield/sword and degen death spells to cut down mobs fast.

For Green farming at the camp just spam that you are a stance W.

Oh make sure you bring some stances or they will just kick you.

I recomend doing the quests that are there 1st as you will run with full parties and get some idea of what will be killing you later.

maybe your guild will help you out?

Sorrows is actualy quite easy with hench as long as you know hoe to use em...in fact most of the time alot easier than PuGs.

hench will attack the target you are attacking if you call the attack, so thats quite handy cos you get total control of what to kill first. This alone should get you to SF entrance.

In SF, pick up a gear and hold it. The enemy will all be attacking you so use stances, healing etc, watch yourself, sygnet..you know what I mean... and target a single enemy. you cant attack but your hench will as long as you alt space the enemy and it pings the radar and you say your attacking (whatever) and also take glads def + balthazars or whatever and you will allways have energy and adrenalin. You will be smited alot so you may want to take a skill to counter this.

Make sure you have 2 monk hench as well and usualy ranged hench are better cos they dont run a mile after the enemy and draw agro and it dont matter about their armour cos your taking all the agro.

This should give you enough experience to join a PuG group in War Camp.

To be honest it all down to how good you actually are. when i goto the war camp i just pretended i'd had lots of experiance in SF, got in a group and off i went. Not had any trouble since aslong as i play as part of the team.

The thing ppl dont want is someone who thinks they can take on the world on their own and not work as a team. At the end of the day SF is quite easy alsong as your in a good team.

I have been all around the Footprint and about one-third of SF with just henchmen and my necro-mentalist. I also have a Warrior/Ranger that I have played as well in the Footprint and used only henchmen.....never really had anytime I felt they werent up to it.....but you do have to fight differently than when in a group of RP.
