Axes or Swords for farming in general?

Hi I have used the SEARCH button and found loads of builds for warrior farming but my question is when it comes down to it which is the more popular weapon to use? Also ive heard alot about hydra and griffon farming but which is more profitable for time spent farming them? Im wanting to find a spot to farm that is good for weapon drops axes/swords mainly... thanks in advance for those who post.

depending on your build, both are equally effective. I would suggest you decide which weapon type looks best on your character, and which skills fit your playing style best. Then pick a build focused on the weapon type you have chosen.

Axe probs the best for farming griffins and other foe's, i noramly take on about 10-16 griffins at a time and with a sword this wouldn't work, as if i am attacking say 14 griffins, i use vig spirit and Live Vicariously i get 18 health every time i hit, add cyclone axe in there and i have 18*14 = 252 health. This is basicly what is keeping me alive along with Gladiator’s Defense (Elite) and Bonetti's Defense. Hope that helps, sword is still good but it would be slower.
