Crafting: Materials & Uses

Hi all,

Really just a quick question on crafting and materials.... I've read all of the guides, but maybe I missed something on this:

Should I hold on to all materials and salvage all items for materials, or should I be selling things? I have tons and tons of crafting materials at the moment, minimal money, and already crafted the best armor I need at the moment... So what should I be doing with all of these materials?

Maybe I'm missing something, I only got the game a week ago, so a lot of things are still new to me... But I think I've got a pretty good grasp of the game, and love the strategy involved in picking and choosing the right skills for the situation, as well as changing your attributes on the fly. Nice to get some xp for going to the arenas as well! Anyway... nice meeting you all, and thank you in advance for the help!

I'd check the armor guides to find out what materials are useful to you (keep in mind you alternate characters) and sell the rest.
