1am to 9am farming amounted to this... I was sick and tired of having not gotten one so I set out to do so lol

After death, marks, strength, expert, inspir, blood, axe, smite, finally a superior absorb was looted.

That and countless minor/major garbage... I'm just happy I finally looted one.

I still have to get Absorption.....I might do the same thing as you did. I got lucky in Mineral Springs once the Avicara Fierce dropped a Superior Vigor and that's about it

I got sup absorb when i walked outside with my necro and killed a lvl 13 skeleton ranger... thats Grade A luck.

I got a sub absorbtion in THK, funny story actually...
See, our guild went to THK and before the bridge with a big mob and a boss after it, a gold armor dropped. I said that a gold armor dropped but they ignored me. So when it got unreserved i picked it up and ID'd it. SUP ABSORBTION!

i've gotten like 4 sup vigs.. no abs... then they nerfed ettins. ARGH>! dozens of major abs. about 5 major abs from gold armors. ARGH!

Ive herd that etins somewere in kryta have the best rate of droping any type of rune. Is this true and if not, is there a beter place to get runes?

riverside province and outside bettletun are great places to rune farm, ive gotten virtually every rune from farming those including several sup vigor and absorp.

A guildie of mine got a sup Absorbtion off an Avicara. So we went farming them. 3 seconds after he left another Sup Absorbtion dropped for him... 200k in 2 days.

pfft i got major abs and vigor for 3k all after 15 minutes of farming! whats 10 hp and 1 damage anyway? or mabye im just a sad, sad little boy who farms for hours and hours and gets naught but majors from gold armors

And around 2-3 months ago i bout 2 gold armors and identified (before the huge drop of rune price) Sup Healing and Sup Death -sup heal 75k, sup death 10k Those 2 runes combined with some crap in storage scored me my 1st green, Rago's Flame Staff

it is not 100% chance i dont think to get runes, ive gotten several armors with runes and got like 15 of whatever common crafting material...

A very long time ago, the chances of salvaging a rune out of an armor was not guaranteed, but it has been changed and as long as you use an expert salvage kit, your chances of getting the rune out of the armor is 100%.

The place I'm looting has a drop rate of about 2.2 superior runes per hour. And then you have a chance of having any of those drop as any of the various good priced sup runes. Not to mention all the major vigs and absorbs I've been getting. Sold 5 major vigs in a row and dropped the price on the sell by a couple hundred :P
