Question about crap weapons with perfect mods

I was wondering, i have this very crappy axe, with low dmg and a bad dmg mod.

Though the axe has a Axe mastery +1 (20% chance) upgrade on it.

what should i do with this?
Try expert salvage on it and hope to get the upgrade?
Or can i try to sell the axe for a few K gold mainly for the upgrade on it?

Same question about a sword i got with a perfect Foritude (+30) upgrade on it.

salvage and hope for the mods...

lets say theres a mod on a wpn worth 50k..... then its not mx dmg and its req13.... its not going to be worth 50k cuz of the mod.... its going to be worthless or maybe couple of k's so just hope for mod wen u salvage it

sell it to salvagers.

if you sell it to someone who buys it to salvage it, you will get about half price or less of the mod. if you manage to salvage the mod, you will have much more cash.
