I like Divine Boon, and I used it, I admit.
But really.. does it need fixing?
Try it out yourself: Divine Boon + any 5 energy Monk skill.. use it often till you are at 5 energy and use again, where does the -2 enegy go?
Even funnier: Divine Boon + Divine Spirit (possibly even Glyph of Renewal) + any 5 energy Monk skill used at 1 energy left, where does the -2 energy of divine boon go? You cast any 5 energy Monk skill + the Divine Boon healing for 1 energy. Strange...
Anyone noticed that bug, too? Is it a bug, or is it a feature...
Most top notch guilds use the standard boon protector (Reversal of Fortune, Mend Ailment, Guardian, Divine Boon, Contemplation of Purity + Offering of Blood). Cause Boon is bugged? Hope not.. (tho I have to admit the above build rocks most PvP parts of Guild Wars currently)

It would only be a bug if the description of Divine Boon said it raises the cost of spells by 2 energy. But it doesn't, it just subtracts 2 energy from you whenever you cast one. Note that the energy loss comes after the spell is finished, not when you first press the button - unlike the actual spell cost.

Try using Divine Boon with Peace and Harmony, so you still have 4 energy regen, but have the added effect of extra healing.

Better yet, try Divine Boon with Offering of Blood or Mantra of Recall, both of which give more energy than P&H and are less vulnerable to disruption.

I know that OoB and MoR are better choices energy-wise, but PaH lasts longer, and with 12 divine favor, it lasts 78 seconds, and recharges in 30. Continious energy.
But if this is for PvP, use Offering of Blood and Mantra of Recall. Peace and Harmony can be interupted a bit too easily by human players.
