They will probably mod the skill so that it doesnt include dead pets. EoE is also another possibility for nerf

Lol just because you can't defend against it doesn't mean it's hard to rip it to pieces. And pets are allies and part of the group so it should remain and people will just have to figure out how to combat it.

The thing about IWAY is that it's NOT hard to rip to shreds with the right build. The problem with that is most people can't or don't want to take the time to lose to enough IWAY teams to find out what that is.

You must remember that a larger portion than should be possible of PvPers don't think that hard about the metagame.

Plus, have you BEEN in Tombs lately? It's nearly impossible to get into a non-IWAY group that isn't made up of guildies.

Basically stated, IWAY has to die down a little for another FOTM to really shine. I miss the days when counter-builds would spring up every week, or every other week. Now there are just two or three standard builds. You don't see much ingenuity in Tombs anymore.

Although my favorite "new" build has to be the Energy-surge spikers. I've never seen it pulled off effectively, though. Most groups just don't have enough Mes.

Anyway, back on topic: I love seeing when Gaile is in LA Int. 1, although she is spammed far, far too often by stupid people asking questions that have already been answered. Or questions that Gaile said won't or can't be answered yet. You think people would get the point.

Then I remember that I'm playing Guild Wars, where 75% of the players haven't learned to just use the stupid Trade channel. Sigh.

Gaile Gray says plain out that Merging of accounts will not happen. It is a technological thing they just dont plan on dealing with.

This means you will have a Chapter 1 account...and a Chapter 2 account. They exist seperately.

They did promise in interviews and magazines that chapter 1 characters will get some access to chapter 2 stuff when you get chapter 2 (like being able to go /rit and /assas) - so there has to be some communication there but you wont just get some extra slots on your existing account - its a whole new account.

When you buy chapter 2, you can add the key to your existing account and then have one account for both chapters. Gaile was referring to people who already have two accounts set up seperately (so they can have 8 characters). ANet will not be merging those accounts.

So again, Chapter 2 can be added to your existing account. But if you want, you can still make it seperate. The choice is yours...

That's not true. They said you will get atleast one new slot and that you can take your existing characters to Cantha. You will most likely be able to add the Chapter 2 keys to your Chapter 1 account.

Chapter 1 + Chapter 2 was not what she was referring to when she was talking about "merging accounts".
