It mainly has to do with were to put my attribute points.

He's gonna be pure ranger and I have barrage to be used as the elite.

Now I wanna put some points into BM to make tigers fury useful but then i realized im also gonna have to put points into expertise and Wilderness survival for healing...

Well anyway can someone tell me whats the best spread for my points and what skills I should add in?

What I have so far is

Barrage
tigers fury
troll ungent

Is this PvE or PvP?? For PvE barrage is a great elite, for pvp its terrible (unless shooting at a team holding the altar)

PvE:

Your monks should be able to keep you alive, so you can go pure damage. Put points in BM for the speed boost, and probably 16 in marks to get the most damage.

I would go like this:
12+3+1 marks
10+1 expertise
8+1 beast mastery

PvP:

Unless your in comp arenas, you dont need anything to keep you alive, as your monks should have that covered. There are many better elites than barrage for this. Quick shot, punishing shot are better in most situations. Res sig is a must, no matter what. Bring whatever skills compliment your elite best, whatever you pick it to be. Im not a ranger expert so i wont go in depth, as i could be completely wrong.

12+3+1 marks
10+1 expertise
8+1 beast mastery

Barrage rangers will surprise groups in Tombs and could lead them to death, unless there fotm which I doubt.

I don't think you should bring TF because you will most likely probably be spamming it all the time. This is my set up for PvE.

Barrage
Hunters Shot
Penetrating Shot/Power Shot
Troll Ungent
Whirling Defense
Strom Chaser
Charm Animal
Some type of rez sig

You could just take out charm animal and put another stance that'll help you. I don't remember my attributes but you could use what that above poster said but put points in wilderness rather than BM. Even if you have monks in your party, it's nice to help them out by using Troll Ungent, especially against degen.
