Hello. I am very interested in Guild Wars game. I live in Germany so its difficult to get English version of GW. So I want to ask a couple of question.
1)I wanted to buy GW but www.4u2play.de only sells the german language version and I am not very good at German language. So any of you living in Germany/Europe knows a place that I can buy. Please do tell. And the ones in UK is very expensive and I dont know if they ship it to germany.
2) I am using Win XP Home German version+ German Keyboard. Does it effect the gameplay and can I install it without problem?
Thank you in advance.

The only difference between the german and the english version will be the language of the box. You can freely change the in-game language.
You'll be able to play just fine with a german keyboard. If you want, you can change your keyboar layout to US in WinXP.

What you really want from the preorder package is the key right? Just download the client and use the key in the box...
Aladdar
yes you can easily change the language in the options files.

Guild Wars uses a single game client world wide. The client shipped in America, or the UK, is identical to the client shipped in Germany, and France, and any other country that GW is sold in.
You can simply open the options panel in game and change your language setting. In the same panel, towards the bottom, you have a button that opens the hotkey setup manu. Scroll down the list. Near the bottom there's a feature called "Language Quick Toggle" - by default, it is set to the right side CTRL key. Let's pretend your default language is German. Now let's pretend that you prefer to play in English, but you come across something that you don't quite understand. Hold down the right CTRL and the language will be temporarily reset to German while you hold the key down - this allows you to quickly compare, and hopefully clear up your understanding.
